Within the Song Death & Taxes by Daniel Ceasar, the artist starts the song by showing an understanding of the sins that he has committed and that he will end up dying eventually. Eluding the the finality of life. He then goes on to say, "its funny how heaven and hell are the same." Depicting a falling from his faith, and once more of the finality of life and his feeling that there is no afterlife that is gaurunteed there is just life on Earth and the life that he is living. He goes on to say "I've lost my faith" affirming this idea. The chorus says "only two things in this life that are sure, of that i'm sure Death and Taxes."
This song creates a multitude of emotions when I personally listen. To me it is about how life is something that comes with sin, and that there is never a true understanding of what comes after life. So, one must live their one gift of life to the fullest. The pictures that I chose personally represent what I think "life" is through pictures that elicit a feeling of joy.
